In attendance at our ceremony and celebration, was Mrs. Angela Erbaugh, President of DRMA (Dayton Regional Manufacturing Association). She was proud of Lewark Metal Spinning in our efforts in achieving and retaining our competetive edge by keeping up-to-date on the latest industry trends, developing new skills, tapping into the wealth of knowledge of the area's business leaders and developing new business opportunities. It was also recognized that the AS9100 Certification is a fitting milestone to our dedicated commitment in Aerospace manufacturing and quality.

Pete Hagenbuch, President/CFO of Lewark Metal Spinning thanked everyone for their commitment to the high standard of quality and adherence to the processes that make this certification possible. AS9100 certification requires that all elements of the production and supply chain operate to levels of quality and performance that help ensure safety and reliability. AS9100 certification is internationally recognized as the quality management system that provides a foundation for the aircraft and aerospace industries to provide safe, quality products and services.

Developed from the framework of the ISO 9001 quality management system standard, it includes requirements for configuration management, reliability, risk management, maintainability, safety and special processes. AS9100 certification is applicable to all OEM and part suppliers.
